Inner Mongolia Jingjiu Stainless Steel breaks ground on cold-rolled sheet project

On March 8, Inner Mongolia Jingjiu Stainless Steel Co., Ltd. commenced construction of its stainless steel cold-rolling project, with a total investment of RMB280 million (USD38.58 million). This project is a key initiative in extending the stainless steel industry chain in Inner Mongolia's Naiman Banner.
The project will include two cold-rolled stainless steel sheet and strip production lines, three annealing production lines, and in its first phase, eight 950 cold rolling machines and 12 annealing furnaces will be installed. The project is expected to finish construction and go into operation in July.
Once operational, the project will have an annual production capacity of 300,000 tonnes of stainless steel cold-rolled sheets, generating an annual output value of approximately RMB3 billion (USD414 million). It is also expected to contribute over RMB50 million (USD6.89 million) in tax revenue and create employment opportunities for more than 100 people.
