4.1 Jianchang Fangri resumed production of HC ferrochrome 7
Jianchang Fangri Metallurgical Furnace Charges Co, a major producer of HC ferrochrome in Liaoning, resumed production this week after holiday of Spring Festival. 7
With an annual production capacity of 36,000t, they plan to produce around 1,000t in February, while they had no output in January. They hold around 500t of stocks now. 7
4.2 Zhenhua Chemical to raise chrome metal price 7
Hubei Zhenhua Chemical Co., Ltd. announced its decision to increase sales price of chrome metal by RMB3,000/t (USD411/t) from the original price due to a sharp rise in raw material costs. 7

Hubei Zhenhua Chemical Co, a major producer of chrome oxide green in China, started equipment maintenance in the middle of this month, a source from the company disclosed to Asian Metal. 7
With an annual production capacity of 30,000t, they plan to produce around 1,000t this month, down by about 500t MoM. They hold no stock now. 7
