1.Market Highlights
Magnesite: Supply still remains tight, but prices still keep stable this month as downstream buyers prepared some stocks before late January.
Fused magnesia: With a strong expectation of sharply higher electricity prices in March, most fused magnesia producers lift prices in late February.
Dead burned magnesia: Based on firm production cost, producers keep prices of 95%min, 96.5%min and 97%min stable, but lowered prices of 90%min owing to the dim market demand.
Caustic calcined magnesia: Based on firm production cost, producers keep prices of 97%min stable, but lowered prices of 85%min and 90%min owing to the dim market demand.
Magnesium aluminate spinel: Owing to the sharply decreased prices of alumina, spinel producers sharply decreased their prices this month.
