China launches nationwide work safety inspections

The first-quarter safety production inspection by China's central assessment team has officially begun
Running from mid to late March, the inspections focus on assessing the implementation of safety responsibilities, addressing previously identified risks, and advancing key initiatives like the three-year action plan for eliminating root causes of hazards. The teams will conduct both open inspections and covert visits, provide expert guidance, investigate public reports, and enforce corrective measures for major safety risks .
