In the first quarter of 2025, GEM achieved strong performance in both production and sales, with a capacity utilization rate exceeding 95%. The company was unaffected by U.S. tariff policies, effectively offsetting global industry headwinds. Its Q1 nickel production and sales surpassed expectations, with shipments exceeding 25,000 tonnes.
On April 7, GEM held a launch ceremony for the first mass shipment of its next-generation ultra-high nickel 9-series core-shell ternary precursor, marking the start of full-scale production and market delivery. With this milestone, GEM becomes the only company in the world capable of mass-producing this advanced material. The planned monthly shipment volume is approximately 3,000 tonnes.
