China will raise additional tariffs on all US imported goods from 84% to 125%, effective from April 12, 2025, according to the Customs Tariff Commission of the State Council.
"With tariff rates at the current level, there is no longer a market for US goods imported into China," the Chinese finance ministry said in a statement, adding that "if the US government continues to increase tariffs, China will ignore."
