Zijin Mining's Q1 mined copper production exceeds guidance

According to Zijin Mining's quarterly report, the company produced 287,571 tonnes of mined copper in the first quarter of 2025, up by 3% QoQ and 9%YoY, exceeding its production target. Mined zinc production reached 88,215 tonnes, down by 9% QoQ and 10.4% YoY.
During the first quarter, the company produced 185,105 tonnes of refined copper, up by 7.1% QoQ but down by 3.0% YoY. The quarterly refined zinc output totaled 100,526 tonnes, marking a 2.6% QoQ increase and an 8.6% YoY growth.
