In 2024, Western Mining produced 177,543 metal tonnes of mined copper, up by 35% YoY, including 159,084 metal tonnes from Yulong Copper, representing a 39.10% YoY increase . Mined molybdenum reached 4,009 metal tonnes, up by 18% YoY, and iron concentrate output was 1,376,891 tonnes, up by 15% YoY . However, the annual production of mined lead fell to 53,970 metal tonnes, down by 11% YoY, and that of mined zinc declined to 107,082 metal tonnes, also down by 11% YoY.
The company's smelting operations underwent comprehensive system upgrades, leading to a 44% YoY increase in refined copper output, reaching 263,771 tonnes, which included 178,499 tonnes from Qinghai Copper and 80,617 tonnes from Western Copper Material. Refined zinc output stood at 114,673 tonnes, down by 3% YoY, and refined lead dropped sharply by 61% YoY to 35,831 tonnes.
