Major Chinese steel mills' daily steel product output declines in early Apr

Major Chinese steel mills produced around 20.45 million tonnes of finished steel products during the first ten-day period of April, when the daily output was 2,045,000 tonnes, down by 5.3% from late March, according to China Iron & Steel Association (CISA).
By the end of the period, major Chinese steel mills held finished steel products inventory of around 16.04 million tonnes, an increase of 810,000 tonnes or 5.3% compared with late March.
