Recently, Shanxi Fuhengdi New Materials Co., Ltd. was awarded a Digital Transformation Maturity Star Rating Certificate and was officially recognized as a model enterprise for digital transformation in Shanxi Province.
Since launching its intelligent transformation initiative in 2020, the company has increased the proportion of its high-end fine magnesium powder production from 6% to 60%, with annual profits rising nearly tenfold to RMB10 million (USD1.39 million).
Fuhengdi holds over 40% of the domestic market share in the magnesium powder sector, with products exported to South Korea, Japan, Singapore and other countries. The company is also actively expanding into hydrogen energy materials, leading the development of Shanxi's pilot base for magnesium-based hydrogen storage materials. It has achieved key breakthroughs in solid-state hydrogen storage technology, laying the groundwork for future industrial-scale production.
