China cars export steady rise in 2010

According to the 2010 Annual Report of China's auto export of China Association of Automobile Electrical Branch, with the national economic recovery, China's auto export improves steadily from the financial crisis. Car export has accounted for one third of China's vehicle export, and it is expected to become China's next major vehicle export models.
China exported 566 700 units of vehicles (including complete sets of parts) and various types of chassis, increasing by 52.86% year on year; export value reached USD6.985billion, up by 34.5% year on year. Although automobile export volume has not recovered to the highest level before the financial crisis, the recovery rate has been quite impressive. Reversing the decline trend in 2009, the automobile export increased firmly.
From the export product structure, the truck is still the main vehicle of China's export, because its export volume and value respectively amounted for 38% and 33%, but trucks increased slower than others.
China exported 180,000 cars in 2010, accounting for 32% of the total; the export value was USD1.276 billion, seeing an increase of 75.67％ and 58.79％ respectively compared to that of 2009.
In addition, average export price in 2010 decreased generally by 12%, China's total automobile exports there was a substantial decline in the average Prices vary depending on the types. Average export price of medium and large buses and mini buses increased slightly, by 3.7% and 5.5% respectively; while the price of other models fell. The average export price of cars was USD7,093, down by 9.6% year on year.
