Chinese motors production and sales up by more than 10% in Nov MOM

BEIJING (Asian Metal) 13 Dec 12 – According to China Automobile and Industry Association, Chinese motors production and sales saw increases month-on-month and year-on-year.
The data showed that Chinese motors production and sales were 1.76 and 1 . 79 millions in November, up by 11% and 11 . 5% compared with those in October respectively, and saw increases of 3 . 9% and 8 . 2% year-on-year.
In the first eleven months of 2012, Chinese total motors production and sales were 17.48 and 17 . 49 million, up by 4 . 5% and 4% year-on-year respectively.
The production and sales in November reached the second highest level since January, 2012, showing that motors industry performed better in that month and it is expected that the production and sales may exceed 19 million in the whole year of 2012.
In November, sales of passenger cars with Japanese brands began to recover and saw increase of 72.2% month-on-month, and those of cars with Japanese brands also saw increase of 65 . 6% month-on-month.
