15CrMoG 是GB5310-95钢号（对应的是世界各国广泛应用的1Cr-1/2Mo和11/4Cr-1/2Mo-Si型钢），其铬含量较12CrMo钢高，因此在500-550℃具有较高的热强性。当温度超过550℃时，其热强性显著降低，当其在500-550℃长期运行时，不产生石墨化，但会产生碳化物球化及合金元素的再分配，这些均导致钢的热强性降低，钢在450℃时抗松驰性能好。其制管和焊接等工艺性能良好。主要用作为蒸汽参数550℃以下的高、中压蒸汽导管和联箱、管壁温度560℃以下的过热器管等。其化学成分C0.12-0.18，Si0.17-0.37，Mn0.40-0.70，S≤0.030，P≤0.030，Cr0.80-1.10，Mo0.40-0.55；正回火态下强度水平σs≥235，σb≥440-640 MPa；塑性δ≥21。 我厂使用此钢小口径管主要用于低温过热器/再热器、包墙过热器等部件。此钢在伊朗炉（指单台）上所使用的部位为中温过热器（数量为5吨）、低温再热器（33吨）。

15Mo3（15MoG） 是DIN17175标准中的钢管，是锅炉和过热器用碳钼钢小口径管，珠光体型热强钢。我国于1995年将其移植到GB5310，定名为15MoG。其化学成分简单，但含有钼，故在保持与碳钢相同的工艺性能的情况下，其热强性能优于碳钢。因其性能良好，价格便宜，得到世界各国的广泛采用。但该钢在高温下长期运行有石墨化倾向，故其使用温度应控制在510℃以下，在冶炼时应限制Al的加入量以控制并延缓其石墨化进程。此钢管主要用于低温过热器和低温再热器，使用壁温温度在510℃以下。其化学成分C0.12-0.20，Si0.10-0.35，Mn0.40-0.80，S≤0.035，P≤0.035，Mo0.25-0.35；正火态强度水平σs≥270-285，σb≥450-600 MPa；塑性δ≥22。 以前我厂200MW机组锅炉用钢从20G直接跳到12Cr1MoV，300MW机组锅炉用钢从20G直接跳到15CrMo。20G的使用温度一般到450℃，而12Cr1MoV、15CrMo的使用温度可达 560-580℃。在450-560℃温区，我厂一直使用12Cr1MoV、15CrMo。现在450-560℃温区，若采用15Mo3来代替，可节约大量资金（因其合金元素少，价格便宜）。 我厂于1989年引入此钢，目前在300MW机组锅炉中得到应用。此钢在伊朗炉的受压元件上没有使用。
