- End of Summit
- The 7th World Aluminum Raw Materials Summit held by Asian Metal came to a successful conclusion on 19 May 2016 in Qingdao, Shandong province. The summit was sponsored by Eurasian Resources, Metro Mining, Alufer Mining, Jiaozuo Zhonghe Weilai Aluminum and Hengnan Yuxing Aluminum Co., Ltd.
- The summit focused on primary aluminum and its raw and auxiliary materials, including bauxite, alumina, aluminum fluoride and carbon. We were honored to have invited leaders from famous enterprises at home and aboard, commercial counselor of the Guinea embassy to China and experts in aluminum industry, who gave excellent speeches on the above products. There were over 200 delegates from more than twenty countries, including China, Russia, United Status, UK, Guinea, Brazil, Dominican Republic, Australia, Malaysia, India, Garner, Indonesia, Singapore and France, etc.
- As the highlight of the summit, the Overseas Bauxite Project Introduction was spoken highly by insiders, such as Guinean Bauxite Project Introduction given by Eurasian Resources and Alufer Mining and Australian Bauxite Project Introduction given by Metro Mining. What’s more, bauxite suppliers from Dominica Republic, Brazil, India, Garner and other places also actively participated in the summit. M. Ahmed Kante, former minister of Mines for Guinea, made a detailed introduction to the investment environment and value of bauxite in Guinea, which boosted Chinese enterprises’ confidence in Guinean bauxite.
- Ron Knapp, secretary general of International Aluminum Institute, Yin Zhonglin, director of Alumina Research Division from Chalco Zhengzhou Research Institute, Pi Jianqing, vice general manager of Hangzhou Jinjiang Group, Sun Junmin, director of Datang International Alumina & Coal Research Center, Tian Kai, general manager of Shandong Lead Carbon Co., Ltd. and Xu Hongping, senior researcher of China Merchants Futures, attended the summit and delivered wonderful speeches on global bauxite market as well as Chinese alumina, primary aluminum and carbon markets.
- Focusing on aluminum raw materials, especially on bauxite, Asian Metal will continue to work hard for a better communication and trading platform in the future.
