Sinopharm International is a subsidiary of China Sinopharm Group, mutually set up by China National Pharmaceutical Foreign Trade Corporation, China National Service Corporation for Chinese Personnel Working Abroad and China Medical Corporation for International Technical Cooperation. It has already started titanium ore, boric acid and other metal and non metal business. Both sides exchanged views on selenium market supply and demand in global markets. Sinopharm International has tried to secure supply from Kazakhstan, India, Polland and other countries but most producers there already have signed long term contracts with other buyers.
Asian Metal explains that demand is not very active in China this year due to low performance of downstream industries and profits are low as a result while replacement costs are high while sales are not good.
Currently, Sinopharm International has established relations with over 100 countries and regions in the world and it hopes to have further cooperation with domestic insiders in selenium market.
Asian Metal has been reporting selenium markets since 2004. Besides offering news, product prices, import and export statistics, Asian Metal will further research into the deep analysis in the future after the establish of research department. Terry says Sinopharm would concern more on selenium market and hope to continue the communication and cooperation with Asian Metal.
