Penfold visits Asian Metal

On September 6th, Mr. Chen Guang, Ms. Angela Chen from Penfold Limited visited Asian Metal and talked with Analyst of Antimony Annabella, Analyst of Indium, Gallium and Germanium Lisa, Karen, Senior Analyst of Lead and Zinc Dina, Senior Analyst from Research Department Victor Hoo.
Penfold has been active in many fields of minor metals and base metals, mainly focusing on imports and exports. They have established long-term cooperation with major participants in China.
Mr. Chen is very interested in current market situation of minor metals and inquired a lot about the production of related metals. He estimated the yearly output of antimony may decrease much from above 100,000 tons last year. However, major producers are able to maintain their production. Asian Metal shares with Penfold the current production of antimony ore and antimony oxide. Penfold will visit some of the suppliers of antimony from Western China.
Later, Mr. Chen also inquired about the output of indium in China and wondered whether the market would improve late this year. He referred to the increasing demand from Europe these months while Japan remains silent.
Both sides also shared their views into lead and zinc ore market. Penfold is an agent of one Canadian supplier. Mr. Chen inquired about the current demand in China domestic market and the production of major lead/zinc producers.
Penfold will also attend the upcoming Minor Metals Summit in Sanya this October and hopes to meet more participants there for better understanding and cooperation.
