Asian Metal visits Guangxi Jiahua, Guangxi Jinlianda, Guangxi Xingui, Hainan Wensheng, Hainan xiongxiu and other titanium ore companies

On 14-18 January, 2013, Fairy Feng, analyst of titanium from Asian Metal visited Guangxi Qinzhou Xingui Mineral Co., Ltd., Guangxi Boyuan Mineral Processing Plant, Qinzhou Jiahua Mineral Co., Ltd., Guangxi Qinzhou Xinglian Mineral Co., Ltd., Guangxi Qinzhou Jinlianda Mineral Co., Ltd., Guangxi Qinzhou Kaisheng Mineral Co., Ltd., Guangxi Qinzhou Huisheng Co., Ltd., Hainan Wensheng New Materials Co., Ltd., Hainan Guanghaiyuan Minerals Co., Ltd., Hainan Continents Island Minerals Co., Ltd., Hainan Xiongxiu Mineral Co., Ltd. and Hainan Wanning Wanhong Minerals Co., Ltd..

On the afternoon of January 14, Asian Metal visited Guangxi Qinzhou Xingui Mineral Co., Ltd. and talked with Miao Shenchun, the general manager of the company. Mr. Miao introduced the recent development of the company and shared the information about Vietnamese titanium ilmenite with Asian Metal.

On the afternoon of November 14, Asian Metal visited Guangxi Qinzhou Boyuan Mineral Processing Plant and met with Zeng Huoji, the general manager of Producing, and Zeng Guangluo, the general manager of Sales & Purchasing Department. They introduced titanium and zirconium businesses of the company and expressed his opinion on the future market. Asian Metal also visited the plant, and Mr. Zeng Huoji introduced the equipments and work flow.

On the morning of January 15, Asian Metal visited Guangxi Jiahua Mineral Co., Ltd and met with Deng Shikang, the general manager of the company. Mr. Deng introduced current situation of Chinese titanium ilmenite and zirconium sand and shared the opinions about the export quotas of Vietnamese titanium ilmenite and zirconium sand. Meanwile, Mr. Deng stated that they also have a new production line of titanium dioxide, and it would be put into production next year.

On the afternoon of January 15, Asian Metal visited Guangxi Qinzhou Xinglian Mineral Co., Ltd and met with Mo Hanyi, the general manager of the company. Mr. Mo introduced the development history of the company and talked about their purchase and sales for Vietnamese titanium ilmenite. Due to the slow demand, they stopped production from January 14, 2013.

On the afternoon of January 15, Asian Metal went to visit Guangxi Jinlianda Mineral Co., Ltd.. Zeng Jili, the general manager of the company, received Asian Metal and introduced their stockpiles of titanium ilmenite, zircon sand and titanium rutile, and he had no intention to sell the materials before the Spring Festival due to low price.

On the morning of January 16, Asian Metal visited Guangxi Qinzhou Kaisheng Mineral Co., Ltd.. Mr. Lu Jinghui, the general manager of the company, and Zhu Guolei, the factory director of the company, led the visitors to see the plant for titanium ilmenite, zircon sand and titanium rutile, and he introduced the plant carefully. And both sides shared the opinions of the outlook of the titanium ilmenite.

On the afternoon of January 16, Asian Metal visited Guangxi Qinzhou Huisheng Mineral Co., Ltd. and met with Zhang Zhiyi, the manager of sales. Mr. Zhang introduced the development history of the company and talked about their purchase and sales for Vietnamese titanium ilmenite.

On the morning of January 17, Asian Metal visited Hainan Wensheng New Materials Science and Technology Co., Ltd. and met Mr. Shen Bing, the vice-general manager of the company. Mr. Shen explained current imported titanium ilmenite supply and demand, and he expressed that most consumers still held the attitude of watching and waiting for the market before the Spring Festival. Meanwhile, the company also paid more intention to the 2nd World Titanium Forum 2013 which held by Asian Metal and they plan to assist the forum.

Then, Asian Metal also met Wu Jihai, the Chairman of Hainan Guanghaiyuan Mineral Co., Ltd. this morning, and Mr. Wu explained the situation of imported titanium ore and zirconium ore from Indonesia, and expressed that it was still hard to exploit minerals from Indonesia. He stated that the market of titanium ilmenite and zircon sand would keep slow before the Spring Festival.

On the afternoon of January 17, Asian Metal visited Hainan Continent Island Mineral Co., Ltd. and met with Wen Guofu, the general manager of the company. Mr. Wen expressed that they had a company for processing titanium and zirconium called Hainan Wanning Changhua Mineral Co., Ltd., in another city in Hainan, and Hainan Continent Island Mineral Co., Ltd is a new company for importing titanium ore and zirconium ore from other countries.

On the morning of Januray 18, Asian Metal visited Hainan Xiongxiu Mineral Co., Ltd. and met with Mr. Cai Jingbin, the general manager of the company. Both sides talked about the development of Hainan titanium ilmenite and zircon sand. Mr. Cai stated that domestic market of titanium and zircnoum will keep sluggish before the Spring Festival with quiet purchase as most producers stopped production.

Then, Asian Metal met Li Ping, the vice-manager of Hainan Wanning Wanhong Mineral Co., Ltd.. Mr. Li expressed that they mainly purchase Chinese and imported titanium ore and zirconium ore to produce titanium ilmenite and zircon sand, and he also believes that domestic market will keep slow in a short time.
