Asian Metal visits Zhejiang Zhongcheng, ITG Group and Xiamen K Metal

On April 15th to 16th, 2013, Mr. Bruce Zhang, General Manager of Minor Metals Dept. and Ms Susan Yin, Senior Analyst of silicon metal in Minor Metals Dept. of Asian Metal visited Zhejiang Zhongcheng Silicon Co., Ltd., Xiamen ITG Group and Xiamen K Metal Co., Ltd. in Xiamen. Asian Metal received warm reception from these companies and exchanged ideas on the recent and future silicon metal market trend with them. As members of Asian Metal, they appreciated Asian Metal’s information. Asian Metal will hold “World Silicon Forum 2013” on May 23rd to 25th in Xiamen. As sponsors of this conference, the three companies gave some suggestions on it. Asian Metal appreciated the support from them.

In the morning of April 15th, Asian Metal met Mr. Shi Lanqing, GM; Ms Zhuang Shuyan, Vice GM; Ms Zhang Mei and Ms Zou Yaru from Zhejiang Zhongcheng Silicon Co., Ltd. and discussed the recent silicon metal market with them. Zhejiang Zhongcheng Silicon Co., Ltd. (Abbr. Zhongcheng) mainly specializes in manufacturing, researching and marketing of silicon metal, silicon powder, and also engaged in polysilicon, coal, magnesium ingot, petroleum coke and other products, which is one of the major production and trade enterprises in China. The company owns manufacturing plants and R&D Centers in Yingjiang, Yunnan Province, Huaihua, Hunan Province, Xinyu, Jiangxi Province, and offices in Xiamen, Beijing and Shanghai, to offer most high-quality services to the clients more conveniently. The company owns seven 12500KVA silicon smelters in Yunnan Province, with annual capacity of 50,000tonnes silicon metal, and two silicon powder grinding factories with annual capacity of 50,000tonnes silicon powder.

In the afternoon, Asian Metal visited Xiamen ITG Group and shared ideas of the recent and future silicon metal market trend with Mr. Lin Haiyu, GM of Metals & Minerals Dept. and Mr. Shu Xing, Sales Manager of Metals & Minerals Dept. On April 16th, Asian Metal visited the silicon metal smelter of Linan Group in Nanjing in the morning and visited Xiamen K Metal Co., Ltd. in Xiamen in the afternoon. Asian Metal talked about the silicon metal market with Mr. Zheng Zhiyong, the GM of Xiamen K Metal Co., Ltd. and Mr. Wang Jieguang and Mr. Liu Hongtao from its purchasing department. Asian Metal will “World Silicon Forum 2013” on May 23rd to 25th in Xiamen and will organize part of the participants to visit the smelter in Nanjing. Xiamen K Metal Co., Ltd. is a branch of Linan Group Co., Ltd., which is a factory integrated with the research, production and sale of silicon metal, silicon metal powder, ferromanganese, aluminum ingot, textile and ect. There are more than 18 silicon furnaces located in Fujian and Guizhou province in China. With the annual output 60-80 thousand tons for silicon 5-5-3, 4-4-1, 3-3-0-3, 2-2-0-2, 2502, 20 thousand tons for ADC-10 and ADC-12. The company has the advantage of high grade, low ferro and low phossy silicon products.
