Tianqi Lithium visits Asian Metal

Mr. Yan Dong, General Sales Manager of Sichuan Tianqi Lithium Industries Inc. visited Asian Metal on 20, June, 2013 and discussed with Joy Kong, who is in charge of lithium and cobalt markets from Minor Metal Department of Asian Metal about current downstream and upstream markets of lithium.

Mr. Yan noted that supply of imported and domestic lithium salt products increases in the first half of 2013, while demand does not keep in line with supply, resulting in slight reductions for lithium salt prices in H1 as some suppliers are eager to withdraw capital and sell products at low prices. He added that it will be the sensitive period as well as adjustment period of supply for lithium market in the coming two months, and Tainqi Lithium, as one of leaders in lithium industry, will try to stabilize prices of lithium as well as the market in the near future.

Asian Metal will hold the 8th International Minor Metals Summit on Oct 23-25, 2013 in Sanya, Hainan. Mr. Yan is willing to discuss about future lithium market with insiders in Sanya.
