On August 22-23 2013, Fairy Feng, analyst of titanium from Asian Metal visited Hainan Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd., Hainan Guoyi Mineral Co., Ltd., Wanning Wantong Minerals Co., Ltd., Wanning Changhua Minerals Co., Ltd., Haikou Rongyuan Mineral Co., Ltd., Hainan Haiyu Mineral Co., Ltd., Wenchang Hengye Mineral Co., Ltd., Wenchang Junlian Minerals Co., Ltd..

On the morning of August 22, Fairy went to the office building of Hainan Non-ferrous Metals Co., Ltd., and talked with Ma Ping, the general manager of the company. Mr. Ma introduced the development process of the company and also concerned the situation of titanium and zirconium concentrate which exploited in Mozambique. Fairy exchanged views on titanium market with Mr. Ma and also talked about status of other smelting companies. Then, Fairy visited Hainan Wanning Wantong Mineral Co., Ltd and met with Li Zhou, the general manager of the company. Mr. Li introduced the development process of the company and expressed his opinion on titanium market. Mr. Li expressed that the whole market of titanium is very bad and he reduced output greatly and is cautious to offer.

On the afternoon of August 22, Fairy went to visit Hainan Guoyi Mineral Co., Ltd.. Zhuang Qiongguang, the general manager of the company led Asian Metal to visit the plant for titanium ilmenite, zircon sand and titanium rutile, covers 60 unit of areas. He shared the opinion of titanium ilmenite and rutile with Fairy, and thought it is hard to make the market be warmer in short term. But he expressed that current market is very slow and most suppliers have no intention to offer due to low prices. Mr. Li Xiaodong expressed that they mainly exploit titanium and zirconium concentrate in Mozambique and then sell to China, and they are the largest suppliers of titanium ilmenite from Mozambique.
