Bleman Ltd. visits Asian Metal London office

Emre Alp Durmaz, Director of Bleman Ltd., visited Asian Metal’s London office and met with Chi Hin Ling, chromium and manganese market analyst at Asian Metal, on 12th September 2013 to discuss the world metal and mineral markets and Bleman’s new manganese project in Turkey.
Bleman is a new but enthusiastic player to the world metal and mineral markets, currently developing a manganese mine with washing and screening facilities in Turkey that has an initial production capacity of 1,500 tons per month of concentrate manganese ore. Emre explained to Chi that the manganese ore project is now progressing well and according to their plan, production will start in the next 3 months and the first shipment is expected in Q1 2014, with the possibility of ramping up production later in the year.
Emre went on to share his plan for the company. He plans to explore the African mineral sector by building facilities in Central and Eastern Africa, in the DR Congo and Tanzania region, to extract minor metals and base metals, like niobium, tantalum, cobalt and copper, in the coming years. He added that, if the opportunity arises, he would like to get involved in the gold mining sector as well.
Emre thanked Asian Metal and Chi for providing professional guidance and up-to-date pricing and market information throughout the development of the manganese ore project, and hopes to strengthen cooperation between the two companies in Bleman’s future project.
