Asian Metal visits National Association of EMM Plants Directors, High Broad, V-Resource and Huazhang Metallurgy

During September 11-13th, Frank Chen, manganese market analyst of Asian Metal visited National Association of EMM Plants Directors, High Broad New Material Ltd., V-Resource Ltd., and Hunan Huazhang Metallurgy Co. Ltd., and was welcomed by the four enterprises.
On the morning of September 11th, Asian Metal visited National Association of EMM Plants Directors, and interviewed Mr. Zhuzhong Tan, the Chairman. Mr. Tan talked about the development of Chinese manganese industry, as well as the current market performance with Frank. As one of the special guests of Minor Metal Summit 2013, Mr. Tan will give an opening speech in Manganese & Selenium parallel sessions on the afternoon of October 24th.
On the afternoon of September 11th, Asian Metal visited High Broad New Material Ltd., and was welcomed by Mr. Wei Fan, the vice GM. As one of the mainstream Chinese manganese exporters, High Broad has kept stable export volumes so far this year, and Mr. Fan believed that demand from overseas end users will turn better in September and October compared with the past two months. He expects the total export volume of Chinese manganese metals to reach 300,000t in 2013.
On the morning of September 13th, Asian Metal visited V-Resource Ltd., and was welcomed by Mr. Liang Chen, the GM assistant, and Miss Xiling Xu, the manager of International Marketing Department. Mr. Chen and Mr. Xu shared views with Frank on manganese production and supply changes among Chongqing, Guizhou and Hunan Province of the recent years, and claimed that the company will adopt more flexible purchasing methods in face of the fierce competition in Chinese manganese metal export market.
On the afternoon of September 13th, Asian Metal visited Hunan Huazhang Metallurgy Co. Ltd., and was welcomed by Mr. Hai Lin, the General Manager, Miss Lingling Shen, the sales manager and Miss Shuxiang Wang, the purchasing manager. Mr. Lin told that some suppliers exported manganese metals at low prices without value added tax invoice recently, which brought troubles to the traditional exporters. Therefore, the company will spare no efforts to enhance the cooperation with Chinese domestic stainless steel mills, as well as regular overseas customers to ensure sales.
