Corwintec visits Asian Metal

On Friday December 26, 2014, Messrs Bulankin Dmitry and Ye Ge’er, respectively the Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) and Sales Manager (China) of Corwintec Europe Limited paid a working visit to Asian Metal – Beijing Office – and sought expert views on manganese lump and some ferroalloy products.
Frank Chen, a manganese flake market analyst introduced the recent market movements for Chinese manganese lump to the officials of Corwintec Europe Limited, analyzing the future price trend. Mr. Ye disclosed that the company, headquartered in Russia, started to import Chinese manganese lump and supply to Russian consumers in early 2014, having their own warehouses. They are going to explore and establish business opportunities with more reliable Chinese suppliers with a view to signing long-term contracts.
The officials also exchanged notes with Samuel, a market analyst. Areas covered included, but not limited to, potential business opportunities to export refractory products to the Middle East and India, exports of some specific ferroalloys products from China to target markets, exploring ferrosilicon business opportunity in Bhutan as well as some unbelievably low offer prices of some ferroalloys products from Chinese suppliers in which quotations could be as much as 40% lower than mainstream export prices.
Mr. Bulankin Dmitry expressed satisfaction on timely accurate information being published by Asian Metal and declared the company’s willingness to attend and participate in some of the conferences and fora planned for 2015.
