Asian Metal visits Shandong Chuanyang Group

On the afternoon of October 10, 2015, Mr. Friday Gao, Senior Analyst from Asian Metal visited Mr. Jack Wang, Senior Manager of Ore Department from Shandong Chuanyang Group Co., Ltd. Both parties talked about Malaysian bauxite market. Mr. Wang pointed out that prices for bauxite Al 40%min Si 5%max are around USD29-29.5/t FOB Malaysia. The Group started Malaysian bauxite business from this May and has imported around 6 ships of bauxite until September. They plan to import 600,000-700,000t of Malaysian bauxite in 2015.
